This gallery presents the work of the 2020 Studio Art majors who completed a yearlong thesis project as part of ARS401 (CUE) and ARS405 (Exhibition). Because of the disruption of Covid19, students spent the final eight weeks of 2019-2020 completing their thesis course online. The six students in the ARS405 Senior Exhibition course had to adapt their senior thesis projects to the spaces and materials that they had at home. In addition, the thesis project usually culminates in an exhibition in Muhlenberg College’s Martin Art Gallery, where each student professionally displays a substantial body of work. This website has been built by the students to showcase the core of each thesis project and to celebrate the students’ accomplishments.
While we are deeply saddened by the cancellation of the show, we also invite you to visit a rescheduled pop-up show in conjunction with the postponed graduation activities, on October 17th and 18th, 2020, in the Baker Center for the Arts Atrium.
We are very proud of the extraordinary creativity and perseverance of the class of 2020.
